During this program, participants define their unique value and create their own career brand. They also discover if the perceptions of those they work and live with match their brand or is in conflict with it. Participants then identify changes they can make to increase a match between their desired brand and the messages they are sending to others. The three major steps in the career branding process are:
- Extract - Unearth your unique promise of value
- Express - Communicate your brand to your target audience
- Exude - Manage your brand environment
Participants who spend focused time on the process during their three months in the pilot, should be able to complete the first two steps (Extract and Express) without any problems. Anyone who puts extra time and effort into the process could get through phase three (Exude) as well.
What participants receive:
- Three months of one-on-one coaching/mentoring. This is made up of 9 calls within 3 consecutive months.
- The book Career Distinction by William Arruda and Kirsten Dixson
- The Career Distinction eWorkbook
- The book Now, Discover Your Strengths by Marcus Buckingham and Donald O. Clifton, Ph.D.
- A baseline Premium 360°Reach Assessment account to be completed within the first month and used as your branding image baseline. This account includes:
- A 20-plus page report that distills your 360°Reach raw data into your top brand personal, leadership competencies, strengths, and leadership role.
- 45 days of unlimited access to your 360°Reach account
- Your data sorted by 'category of respondent' (colleague, manager, friend/family, etc.)
- Your brand personal and leadership competencies
- A second Premium 360°Reach Assessment account to be used approximately 12 months from now to assess progress on the development of your branding image.
What I'm asking from participants is a serious commitment to work each week on the career branding steps. At the end of the pilot, I would like your evaluation of the program, recommendations to make it better for future participants and a testimonial about your experience with the program. The cost of the program during the pilot is $235. It will be priced at $925.00 after the pilot.
